The Frankfort Commons Golf Course is having the First Annual Frankfort City Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27 at the Frankfort Commons Golf Course.
This will be a two-day flighted tournament for men, women and senior players of all levels. There will be four divisions for men (Championship: 0-8 Handicap; A Flight: 9-15 handicap; B Flight: 16-23 Handicap; and C Flight: 23+ Handicap). Women will be one division, and seniors will be age 60 and up. Junior golfers will have two divisions (ages 12-16 and ages 11-and-under), but will play nine holes walking only on Sunday.
Entry fees are $40 plus optional cart for $10 for Frankfort Commons pass holders; $30 for juniors; $50 plus optional cart for $10 for seniors; and $56 plus optional cart for $10 Prices are a combined fee for Saturday and Sunday.
Plaques will be awarded to champion and runners up in each division. All players must wear proper golf attire — no jeans or cut-offs will be allowed. Payment and registration is due by Wednesday, August 23.
