Vehicle Pursuit Ends With Crash in Mulberry

At 3:43 a.m. Saturday, Clinton County Deputies were sent to a West Jackson Street location in Mulberry. They were looking for a suspicious person setting in front West Jackson Street location.

According to Major Joe Mink of the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, while in route the complaint advised that the subject had just drove away in a old red single cab truck. This information was given to deputies. Deputies were looking a red single cab truck stolen from Frankfort hours before. Vehicle was located on the west side of Mulberry.

Deputies stopped behind the vehicle and started to order the driver out of vehicle. Driver started to exit vehicle but for some unknown reason got back into the vehicle and drove off. Deputies followed subject because he refused to stop. Subject drove in several yards trying to flee deputies. Subject drove through a fence at a Jackson Street home before hitting a tree and coming to a stop. Deputies noted that due to time of the event no one was on the streets or in yards and no one was injured.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Brian Duvall, 54, of Frankfort. He was taken to IU Frankfort hospital for evaluation. Mink added all information will be given to Clinton County Prosecutor for review.
