Central Dispatch Issues Apology For Sirens

Approximately 5:00 AM this morning, Clinton County Central Dispatch issued an audible Tornado Test Warning.  This test was supposed to be one of the three monthly silent tests. The audible alarm was accidentally activated, according to Renee Crick, Central Dispatch Director.  Central dispatch “take(s) the activation of the sirens seriously and apologize(s) for the error”.

Frankfort Hit With Damaging Winds Saturday: Church Services Cancelled, Photos of Damage

Frankfort experienced damaging winds, personal injury and a possible tornado on the east side near Walmart and the First Church of the Nazarene.  Damage was also reported at Wendy’s.  Injuries were reported at the Frankfort Walmart location Saturday.
