Clinton County Under Wind Advisory Until 7 A.M. Friday

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for Clinton County which is in effect until 7 a.m. Friday morning. Wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph will be possible. Unsecured outdoor items will be easily blown about and possibly damaged. Driving may be difficult, particularly for high profile vehicles.

Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren counties.

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or wind gusts of 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
