Patricia A. Boes

Patricia E. “Pat” Boes, 68, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Tiffin Rehabilitation Center. She was born on December 31, 1950, in Kokomo, Indiana to James R. and Dorothy (Vonderahe) Smith.  Pat was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin.  She graduated in 1969 from Clinton Prairie High School in Frankfort, and from International Business College in 1970.  She was currently the manager at Burger King in Tiffin. She was the owner of Boes Flowers & Gift Shop and Pat Boes Management.  She served as chairman of the Tiffin-Seneca Heritage Festival, was past board member of the Ohio Festival & Events Association and a member of the Toledo Craftsman Guild.  Pat enjoyed crafts.  She wanted the best for everyone, was a very passionate and committed woman, and it showed through in everything she did.  Survivors include her son, Robert J. (Rebecca) Boes of Benton Harbor, MI; daughters, Kristin Raudabaugh and Catherine Boes, both of Tiffin; fiancée’, Jeff Carter of Tiffin; stepson, Jeremy (Amanda) Carter of McCutchenville; stepdaughter, Christa (Robert) Lawrence of Tiffin; brothers, Stanley (Nancy) Smith, Mark (Cindy) Smith and Gregory (Julie) Smith, all of Frankfort, IN, Leo (Cathy) Smith of Satellite Beach, FL, Bernard (Brenda) Smith of Lafayette, IN and Thomas (Melanie) Smith of Lakeville, IN; sisters, Marianne (Clint) Orr of Forest, IN and Monica Smith of Indianapolis, IN; and two grandchildren, Evan W. Boes and Cole M. Seifert.She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Karen Lynn Smith.A funeral service will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 12:00 Noon, with Father Chris Miller officiating.  Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Tiffin Rehabilitation Center, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
