Rotary Club Celebrates 100 Years With Contribution Toward Splash Pad at Prairie Creek Park

10 years ago, before the Frankfort Rotary Club was 90 years old,  preparations started for this moment.

Rotarian and board member Ron Niemesh (now deceased) had the vision a decade ago to suggest Frankfort Rotary Club start saving and planning for its 100th birthday.  The vision was to save up and fund a community project worthy of commemorating 100 years of Rotary service in Frankfort and Clinton County.

On April 24, 2019 Frankfort Rotary will be 100 years old and construction will be underway on a splash pad at Prairie Creek Park.  The splash pad at the Park will commemorate the Rotary Club’s 100 years of ‘Service above Self’.  Year after year the club salted away money to help make the Prairie Creek Park Splash Pad a reality.
