Todd Rokita Files for US Senate Position

Todd Rokita files paperwork for US Senate campaign in the Secretary of State’s office Thursday.

Thursday morning, Todd Rokita filed the paperwork and required signatures with the Indiana Secretary of States Office to run for the United States Senate.

“I’m the one candidate in the race for US Senate who has always been an ally to President Trump, who has the proven conservative record to get results for Hoosiers, and the fight to defeat Joe Donnelly,” said Rokita. “Hoosiers want a US Senator who will stand up to liberal Washington elites, who won’t raise taxes, who lives in Indiana, and a Senator who will give President Trump and Vice President Pence the friend and ally they need.”

Momentum continues to grow, as Rokita turned in well over the 500 required in each Congressional District to qualify for the May 8 Republican primary ballot.

New polling data released last week shows Rokita with 24.0% of the Republican primary vote, Mike Braun with 9.2%, and Luke Messer with 8.8%.
