WLFI is reporting that the man who died in the fire at 1001 E. Clinton St. around midnight Sunday has been identified as 56-year-old Arthur Keever.
The report says that Keever was pulled from an upstairs apartment, taken to IU Health Hospital in Frankfort where he later died. The cause of his death is pending toxicology results.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and it will likely be two to three weeks before a cause is determined. The Indiana State Fire Marshals Office is assisting in the case.
