Frankfort Firefighters were dispatched at approximately 9 a.m. Friday morning to a shed fire reported at 1002 Milroy Street.
When firefighters arrived on scene they found that the fire had spread to the adjacent residence. A vehicle parked next to the shed was also fully involved. Frankfort Firefighters extinguished the fire within an hour. Residents of the home exited their home without injury and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
Frankfort Fire Chief John Kirby remarked, “We are grateful that firefighters were able to eliminate the blaze with no injuries to the homeowner or to firefighters.”
The fire was investigated and the cause was ruled undetermined.
