Random acts of kindness happened yesterday at FMS. Students and staff were encouraged to wear their cardigans in honor of World Kindness day. The inspiration at the heart of
the movement was Mr. Roger’s. He was a pure genius and knew far more about how to reach children before the research ever proved it. In his honor, students wrote letters to others who may have needed a quick moment of kindness. Others offered hugs or fist bumps. Everyone smiled. It’s proven that a smile is free and can reduce stress and anxiety. It was a great day in their neighborhood.
