Witham Health Services EMS Education in cooperation with the Thorntown/Sugar Creek Fire Department is pleased to sponsor an Emergency Medical Responder (formerly First Responder) class for interested county residents. The class will begin February 10 and continue through March 20, 2020. The class will meet Monday and Thursday evenings from 6-10 p.m. at the Thorntown Fire Department. Additionally, students will obtain field experience by riding with the Boone County EMS staff.
The cost of the class will be $225, which will include all textbooks/teaching materials. Payment must be made in full prior to the start of the class.
Applications must be accompanied by a $100 non-refundable fee. Make checks payable to Witham Health Services. Applications must be received by January 31. Class size is limited; seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
