The Friendly Market Shell at 2057 E. Wabash St., Frankfort, held a grand opening Monday afternoon. Hours for the store, which is located on the former space that housed Superior Auto Sales, is 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
Following the ribbon cutting, gas prices was reduced to $1.99 for a period of time.
This is the third Friendly Market in Clinton County. The others are located on Walnut Street in Frankfort and in Rossville on State Road 39 near Rossville High School. There is a fourth location open in Delphi.
