The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for portions of central, east central, north central and southeast and west central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 5 a.m. Monday through 8 p.m. Monday.
West winds 25 to 35 mph with frequent gusts up to 50 mph are expected with isolated wind gusts up to 55 mph winds possible Monday morning. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Bartholomew, Boone, Carroll, Decatur, Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Howard, Jennings, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Tippecanoe and Tipton.
Motorists are urged to use extra caution when driving especially if operating a high profile vehicle.
