Maicee Stirrett had 15 kills and Bella Colby added 13 kills to help lead Frankfort to as 3-0 victory over North Montgomery in the opening round of the Class 3A sectional volleyball play Thursday night in Frankfort.
The victory moved the Hot Dogs into Saturday morning’s semifinal matchup against Crawfordsville at Case Arena. Game time is 11 a.m.
Morgan Adamson had 35 assists for FHS, and Amber Houchen had seven kills and two blocks.
Defensively, Tarah Martinez had 13 digs, Mercedes Toney added 12 digs, Sydni Whitaker had nine digs and Eryka Pillion had eight digs.
In the other opening round match Thursday night, West Lafayette defeated Benton Central 3-0. West Lafayette is scheduled to play Twin Lakes at 1:30 Saturday.
The championship game is set for 7 p.m. Saturday.
