Temporary Ramp Closure on I-65 Near Lebanon Starting on June 17

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a temporary ramp closure on I-65 southbound. Crews will close the State Road 47 off-ramp (exit 147) starting on or after Friday, June 17, near Lebanon. This is for work on the added travel lanes project on I-65. The off-ramp is expected to reopen on Sunday, June 19, weather permitting.

The official detour follows I-65 to S.R. 28 (exit 158) to U.S. 52 South.

This project was awarded to E & B Paving, LLC for $83.7 million. It also includes bridge replacement work on I-65 near U.S. 52, a bridge removal near S.R. 32 and various culvert replacements and drainage work along I-65. The entire project is expected to be completed in May of 2023, weather permitting.
