
Both Holladay and Taylor were removed from the vehicle for further investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Unit. Zionsville Police Department K9 provided a positive indication on a free air sniff for narcotics. Upon initial investigation, Taylor and Holladay were found to be in possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, and other paraphernalia. Upon further investigation, a search warrant for Holladay’s apartment was approved where
more evidence was located and seized.
Sheriff Harris wants to commend the officers from all agencies involved in this apprehension: “The cooperation among all the law enforcement partners in our fight against drugs and those attempting to profit from drug sales, will continue on a daily basis. Our CIU officers and Zionsville Police Department’s Strategically Applied Focused Enforcement (SAFE), have been steadfast in their training regime and have been receiving tips from
citizens across the county of suspicious drug activity. Our message to those in the drug world, is that we know who you are and we will be knocking on your door soon.”
All parties involved are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Taylor and Holladay were booked into the Boone County Jail with the following preliminary charges: Dealing in Methamphetamine – 2 Felony; Possession of Methamphetamine – 3 Felony; Dealing in Cocaine – 5 Felony; Possession of Cocaine – 6 Felony; Possession of a Controlled Substance – A Mis.; and 2 Ct. Possession of Paraphernalia – C Mis.
