The Indiana Department of Transportation announces restrictions on U.S. 421 starting on or after Tuesday, May 9 for bridge painting over South Fork Wildcat Creek, near Frankfort. U.S. 421 will be restricted down to one, 11-foot lane. Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals over the bridge. The restrictions are expected to last through the beginning of August, weather permitting.
This project was awarded to Beaty Construction, Inc. for $1.5 million. The entire project is expected to be completed by August of 2023.
