Clinton County Sheriff, Frankfort Police, and Community Corrections departments held K9 demonstrations at the
Clinton County Fairgrounds Tuesday evening.
In the first demonstration there were three items hidden in the area and the K9 and handler demonstrated how the K9 sniffed out the items and the K9 would sit when he found them.
One demonstration the handler hid a drug smell item in a block. The K9 sniffed all the blocks and then went to the block with the smell and again would sit.
The fun demonstration was a how the K9 helped chase down a suspect and attack when suspect did not follow orders.
Exciting demonstrations for all to witness Kids and adults enjoyed the demonstration and explanation Of the K9’s and handlers work together before a little meet and greet with the guests.
