The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has extended the Wind Chill Advisory for portions of central, east central, north central, and west central Indiana with wind chills between 15 and 20 below zero.The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Affected areas are Boone, Carroll, Clinton, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Howard, Madison, Montgomery, Parke, Randolph, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion and Warren counties.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat and gloves.
