The Zonta Club of Frankfort announced a $1,000 scholarship available to Clinton County residents with
a deadline for submission of June 3.
The Zonta Career Advancement Scholarship application has been released by the Zonta Club of Frankfort, which will be available to those who meet the criteria. The criteria requires the applicant to be a Clinton County resident, a woman 19-years-old or older at the time of application, a person who shows ability to complete education or upgrade skills, a person who has been admitted to or cleared for admission to an academic or vocational school licensed by the State of Indiana, a person who has a plan for schooling with objectives, a person who can provide tuition and fee information and a person who completes the application no later than June 3.
The scholarship funds must be utilizeed to help pay tuition and fees, such as books, supplies and expenses related to the course of study. The evidence of enrollment and expenses from the university the applicant is planning to attend must be submitted to the Zonta Club of Frankfort Treasurer prior to the receipt of funds.
Members of Zonta and their immediate families are ineligible for the scholarship.
