The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that the culvert located just outside of the town on the west side will begin construction beginning in August, which is expected to conclude toward the beginning of September.
The department announced that Rieth Riley’s current schedule for the construction showed that the project is expected to begin on Aug. 1, which is subject to change depending on unforeseen circumstances and weather conflicts.
The construction is expected to continue through August into September for around a 30-day closure in the area for the construction.
Drivers are instructed to avoid the area and exercise caution during the construction for the safety of all people in the area.
