Two Kentucky Men Arrested for Meth Possession on Interstate 65

At 8:25 a.m., Sunday, Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputy Creasy stopped a white 2006 Dodge Charger traveling northbound on I-65 for multiple traffic infractions, near the 159 mile-marker, just north of the State Road 28 exit.

During his interactions with the driver and passenger, Deputy Creasy was alerted to possible criminal activity. A search of the vehicle yielded a white, crystal-like substance and other items. Both occupants were arrested and transported to the Clinton County Jail, where they were turned over to jail staff, without incident.

Arrested:

Steven Lanham, 63, of Louisville, KY (driver)

Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony

Michael J. Levy, 65, of Louisville, KY (passenger)

Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony

Possession of Marijuana, B Misdemeanor

Formal charges are pending review by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.
