Frankfort Fire Department Chief Graduates From Fire Chiefs Executive Training Program

The Frankfort Fire Department saw leadership take the stage as Chief Matt Stidham accepted his certification from a training to continue the preparation of local firefighters to strive for greatness in serving their community.

Stidham was honored last week with a congratulatory certificate following his attendance and graduation from the Indiana Fire and Public safety Fire Chiefs Executive Training Program.

“The skills and knowledge he has learned over this past week continues to better his ability to serve our department and our community,” the department released.

About the Training:

This is the new Indiana Fire Chief Executive Training Program, which was developed by Indiana Fire and Public Safety Academy to assist recently hired or promoted Fire Chiefs of full-time, combination or volunteer fire departments. The course is a combination of three National Fire Academy courses that cover challenging Issues, administrative Issues, contemporary Issues and multiple topics beneficial to Fire Chiefs in Indiana. This is a five-day course, and students will learn from multiple instructors, elected leaders and Fire Chiefs throughout the state.
