Whitestown Women’s Self Defense Class Set For Wednesday, Oct. 23; Registration Still Active

The Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department announced that spots remain open for its Women’s Self Defense Class set for next Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The free class is designed to empower and educate women to take control of their own safety, and it will be held next Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 6208 Veterans Dr. in Whitestown.

The class is intended to teach participants how to be more aware of their surroundings, avoid threatening situations, escape dangerous encounters and defend themselves from an attacker.
