Frankfort Man Airlifted To Indianapolis Hospital Following Single-Vehicle Crash

A single-vehicle crash led to a Frankfort man being airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital in critical condition on Friday evening.

On Friday, Oct. 18 just before 5:30 p.m., Deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office reportedly responded to a single-vehicle personal injury crash with ejection on Kirklin Brick Road at County Road 100 East. The department stated that preliminary investigations determined that a grey 2002 GMC Sierra that was driven by Jordan Walker, 29, of Frankfort was traveling westbound on Kirklin Brick Road and approaching County Road 100 East.

The department reported that the truck veered off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and left the roadway into the ditch located on the southern, left side of the road, causing the vehicle to roll. Deputies stated that the cause of the vehicle’s motions is unknown.

Walker was reportedly ejected from the vehicle and flown by Lifeline to an Indianapolis hospital in critical condition. No further information has been released regarding his condition.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Clinton County Central Dispatch, Frankfort Fire Department, Clinton County EMS, Lifeline and Miller’s Towing.
