Be A Game Changer On The Square Coin Drive To Benefit The United Way On Nov. 1

As an aspect of the United Way for Clinton County’s commitment to ensuring that the community of Clinton County continues to be positively impacted, the organization announced the “Be the Game Changer on the Square” coin drive to raise funds for its annual campaign that allows for the organization to continue its efforts in the community.

The United Way stated that the initiative will occur around the courthouse square on Friday, Nov. 1 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and the initiative is designed to help wrap up the United Way’s 2024 Campaign season.

From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 1, local residents have been encouraged to drop off their spare change in designated collection tubs at the corner streets of downtown Frankfort, and those who participate may meet some of the funded agencies who will be helping collect change this year to see how the United Way impacts them.

“Every penny counts, and even your loose change can make a significant difference in supporting United Way’s vital programs and services that benefit those in need in our community,” the United Way released. “The United Way for Clinton County works endlessly to create lasting solutions for issues in our community, focusing on education, financial stability and health. The funds collected during the ‘Be the Game Changer on the Square’ drive will directly support these crucial efforts.”
