The Lebanon Parks and Recreation Department announced that the Parks team is currently undergoing a project to remove the current playground equipment at Abner Longley Park before installing a new set of playground equipment for the community to enjoy.
The department stated the team is currently removing the older equipment, which will place the playground out of use for the community until the new equipment is installed. The new equipment is reportedly expected to be installed by Thanksgiving on Nov. 28 with weather permitting.
No further information has been released as to the plans for the old playground equipment.
“Thank you for your patience,” the department released.
