The United Way for Clinton County is continuing its efforts to make a positive impact in the community by hosting its “Be the Game Changer on the Square” coin drive this Friday, Nov. 1 to raise funds for its annual campaign.
The initiative will occur around the courthouse square this Friday, Nov. 1 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and it is designed to conclude the United Way’s 2024 campaign season.
During the timeframe, local residents may drop off their spare change in designated collection tubs at the corner streets while being able to meet representatives from a few of the organization’s funded agencies.
“Every penny counts, and even your loose change can make a significant difference in supporting United Way’s vital programs and services that benefit those in need in our community,” the organization released. “The United Way for Clinton County works endlessly to create lasting solutions for issues in our community, focusing on education, financial stability and health.”
The funds collected from the event will directly support the organization’s efforts to aid in funding for local organizations.
