The Results Are In: Clinton County Election Day Results

The results are in for Clinton County with 12,631 voters out of 20,350 registrants this year, marking 62.07% of the registered population casting a ballot in the 2024 General Election.

With 6,936 walk-in absentee, 546 paper absentee and 5,149 election day votes, Clinton County increased its voter turnout by over 40% from the primary election.

For contested races, Mike Hensley ranked first with 29.65% of the vote, Jeff Chynoweth followed with 28.73% and Mary King with 27.39%, rising above Mark Newhart with 14.22% to secure their three spots as County Council Member At-Large.

Contested School Board Races:

Clinton Central School Board District 11:

  • Amy Mennen – 74%
  • Jerry Lysko – 26%

Rossville Consolidated School Board District (Clay Township):

  • Joe Hufford – 64.79%
  • Dillon Rothrock – 35.21%

Rossville Consolidated School Board District 20:

  • Brent Michael – 65.26%
  • Julia Mink – 34.74%

The Clinton County Clerk’s Office stated that results for the Rossville Consolidated School Board District 19 between Jentry Pendleton and Janet Blackburn will be tallied in the morning tomorrow, Nov. 6 as both candidates were write-in candidates. 457 votes were cast between the two candidates.

The Clinton County voters elected to vote yes for the Constitutional Amendment Public Question as well as all four questions regarding the Indiana Supreme Court appointees.
