Rossville Elementary School Ranks #236 Among Indiana’s Top Elementary Schools

Rossville Elementary School ranked #236 among Indiana’s top elementary schools by U.S. News & World Report, ranking as the highest-rated elementary school in Clinton County and one of the highest in the region.

Rossville Elementary stands as a rural school that served 472 students in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade when the data was analyzed, and the current enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year stands at 437. Rossville ranked #236 in the analysis among 1,982 schools across the state.

The school was noted for its achievements in state-required assessments where 67% of the students achieved proficiency in mathematics and 53% achieved the proficiency in reading. Rossville Superintendent Dr. Jim Hanna commented about the ranking.

“We are proud of this recognition, which reflects the collaborative efforts of our teachers, staff, and families to create a supportive and effective learning environment,” Hanna said.
