Community members have been invited to deck the halls and spread holiday cheer with Frankfort Main Street as the 2024 Christmas Parade showcases the spirit of Christmas tomorrow.
This year’s theme follows “Gingerbread Kisses and Christmas Wishes” and acts as a festive event for the entire family set for 3 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 7 in downtown Frankfort. Frankfort Main Street Executive Director Kim Stevens expressed her enthusiasm for the event.
“We’re thrilled to kick off the holiday season with our annual Christmas Parade,” Stevens said. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate the season and create lasting memories.”
The community has been invited to join together for a magical parade filled with twinkling lights, festive floats and joyful music while Santa Claus and his elves also make their grand entrance to spread holiday cheer.
Those interested in entering a float, marching band or other group in the parade are encouraged to visit frankfortmainstreet.org and complete a Parade Entry Form.
The parade will be broadcast live on HoosierlandTV, brought to you by Encompass Credit Union and Wampler Services, Inc.
Community members have also been encouraged to save the date of the Cookies with Santa event set for Saturday, Dec. 14 this year in Frankfort. Further details will be released as the event draws closer.
