Clinton County Officially Sells K9 Tiko To Deputy Trump For $8,000

The Clinton County Board of Commissioners officially approved the sale of K9 Tiko for $8,000 to the Hometown Foundation, which will gift the dog to Deputy Melissa Trump, this morning, Dec. 18.

During the meeting where the motion was approved, Commissioner President Jordan Brewer stated that he worked alongside Trump to settle upon the dollar amount. The funds collected from the sale of Tiko will be utilized to purchase another K9 that will be assigned to Deputy Prestin Hillman, who became Tiko’s K9 Handler following the initial investigation for Trump.

The motion to sell the dog and release the county’s obligation to Tiko effective today, Dec. 18 was approved with a vote of 2 to 0.
