The Frankfort Street Department has released an important trash notice for citizens of Frankfort regarding trash pickup next week, stating that pickups will not occur on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The department stated that trash services and curbside recycling will not run on Tuesday, Dec. 24 or Wednesday, Dec. 25 next week. Instead of the normal schedule, double pickup will occur on Monday, Dec. 23 for both Monday and Tuesday trash routes. The department stated that residents should have their trash carts set on the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23 to ensure pickup. Routes will run differently due to the double pickup.
City administrative services will also be unavailable next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, by police and fire services will be available as usual.
