United Way for Clinton County announced its recent partnership with Clinton Central Jr/Sr High School in a rewarding Community Service Day, made possible through the generous funding from Duke Energy.

This initiative brought together students and staff who dedicated their time and effort to uplift the community through various thoughtful projects.

Participants worked diligently to create hygiene bags for Paul Phillippe Resource Center, ensuring that those in need receive essential items for their daily lives. Additionally, students crafted heartfelt Christmas cards, spreading joy and warmth during the holiday season. To further support local nursing homes, teams of students assembled cozy blankets, providing comfort to residents who will benefit from these loving gestures.

“We are incredibly grateful for the partnerships that came together for this event,” said Kori Faulkner, assistant director for United Way for Clinton County. “The collaboration between United Way, Clinton Central and Duke Energy exemplifies how we can make a meaningful impact in our community by working together. We are especially thankful for Duke Energy always being willing to partner with us on giving back to Clinton County.”

The Community Service Day not only helped those in need but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and civic responsibility among the participating students and staff. United Way for Clinton County looks forward to continuing these efforts and encourages others to join in making positive changes within the community.
