Delphi Youth Baseball Registration Closes Tomorrow, Feb. 15; Draft Day Set For Feb. 23

The Delphi Youth Baseball League has announced that registration for the 2025 season will close tomorrow, Feb. 15.

The league released that those moving up an age group will be entered into the draft, and those that are remaining in the same age group where their team still exists with the same coaches have the choice to remain on the same team or re-enter the draft. The league stated that if 10u and 12u have to combine due to numbers, every player will have to re-enter the draft.

The important dates continue with the next deadline of registration set for tomorrow, Feb. 15. Registration may be completed here.

Sunday, Feb. 23 will be Draft Day at the Delphi Community High School gym. 8U will be at 1 p.m., 10U at 2:30 p.m. and 12U at 4 p.m. Players should bring their mitt, bat, batting gloves and helmet. As well, players should wear sneakers instead of cleats.

A coaches’ meeting and meet your coaches night will be held on Wednesday, March 19. The meeting will begin at 5:15 p.m. with players being invited to meet their coach at 6 p.m. at the Delphi Community High School Commons.

Fundraiser money and forms must be turned in by Monday, April 7 at 5:30 p.m. to the Paul Goyer Field Board Room.

Picture Day for the league will be held on Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24 with times to be determined.

The season will kick off with the Parade and Opening Day on Saturday, April 26 with parade line up beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the parade starting at 10 a.m. The parade will start at the Delphi City Building and will end at Paul Goyer Field. The parade theme for 2025 is “Play Ball.”
