Community members have only a few weeks left to apply for the $1,000 scholarship that will be presented to a young woman in Clinton County this year through the Zonta Club of Frankfort
Applicants must be a Clinton County resident, at least 16 to 19-years-of-age on or before April 1 this year, planning to study in a secondary school or home school or studying in their first year of college or university, not a previous Zonta Club award recipient and not related to a Zonta member.
The scholarship recognizes young women for demonstrating leadership skills and commitment to public service and civic causes while encouraging them to continue their participating in public and political life.
