The Arts Federation has issued an invite for Indiana artists to submit their qualifications for an upcoming mural project in Flora at 44 S. Center St. in Flora with a submission deadline of April 11.
Artists must be 18-years-old or older, and they must submit examples of their work for consideration for the project. Artists should provide samples of previous mural projects that demonstrate their style, subject matter and technical expertise. Artists are asked not to create and submit original work that has been designed specifically for the project.
The selected artist will work directly with the local community and create a design based on their input. Artists will be given a maximum of two weeks to complete the mural installation and participate in a community dedication. All supplies, equipment, travel expenses and accommodations will be provided and paid for by The Arts Federation.
This is a paid opportunity. The selected artist will be paid a $7,500 stipend.
