
The Frankfort Fire Department has announced the official retirement of a long-standing Lieutenant within the department effective today, May 14.
The department congratulated Lt. Greg Miller on his career spanning almost 40 years with the Frankfort Fire Department, where he has served the community in various roles, stating that he officially retires effective today, May 14, 2025.
“We acknowledge his remarkable leadership, enduring friendships and tireless efforts to educate and inspire others,” the department released. “We offer our sincerest wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement, knowing that he will remain an integral part of the City of Frankfort.”
Miller also serves on the Board of Public Works and Safety for the City of Frankfort under the administration of Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets.
