The Board of Directors of the Frankfort Hot Dog Hall of Fame would like to encourage anyone who may know of a deserving FHS alumnus, to nominate them to Hall of Fame. The deadline to nominate someone for the 2026 Hall of Fame is October 1, 2025. You may nominate an alumnus to the Hall of Fame by searching for frankforteducationfoundation.org then simply click on “Hall of Fame.” Once there you may fill out and send in the form on-line. If you wish, you may print the form out and mail or deliver it to the Superintendent’s office at 2400 E. Wabash St.
The FHS Hall of Fame recognizes graduates of Frankfort High School who have achieved extraordinary lifetime accomplishments. Some alumni earn recognition in faraway places–but many others earn their recognition by their accomplishments right here in Frankfort. In recent years the Hall of Fame has honored doctors, researchers, professors, business owners, YouTube influencers, athletes, pilots, journalists, entrepreneurs, writers and Generals—all graduates of Frankfort High School. Almost every year the Board of Directors is pleasantly surprised to hear about a deserving graduate of FHS that they previously knew nothing about. So the Board is urging the public to let us know about possible honorees. The HOF Board can’t vote anyone into the Hall unless they’ve been nominated so they rely on the public and fellow alumni to send in nominations. The deadline for accepting 2026 Hot Dog Hall of Fame Nominations is October 1, 2025.
