Gloria L. Garcia, 67, of Clarks Hill, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at her home surrounded by family and friends.  She was born June 30, 1958 in Muncie, Indiana to Harold “Bud” & Lorraine (Naylor) Lipscomb.  She married Luis Garcia in the early 1980’s and he preceded her in death on March 2, 1989.

Gloria was a graduate of Wes-Dale High School in Gaston, IN.  She proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 6 years and was in active-duty status three times.  She worked for Stratosphere Quality as a supervisor until her retirement in November of 2023.  Gloria was a member of the Heart of Fire Church in Frankfort and loved her church family.  She also loved her “Cherry Bomb” motorcycle, traveling, her yearly cruise with friends, and spending time in her garden. Gloria’s greatest joys were her grandchildren and also going to their sporting events.

Gloria is survived by daughters, Alicia (Shane) Maples of Memphis, IN, Michelle (Edward Perry) Garcia of Frankfort, sister, Kathy Bright, brother, Gene Lipscomb both of Muncie, IN, grandchildren, Kenan Horlacher, Quentcy Perry, Brooklyn Perry all of Frankfort, Aria Maples, Aylee Maples and Benson Maples all of Memphis, IN, great grandchildren, Kyren Horlacher, Rylee Horlacher, special niece, Nicole Garcia and 3 children of Frankfort, as well as extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Michael Naylor.

Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN.  Memorial visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 29th at the Heart of Fire Church, 3000 E. Wabash, Frankfort, IN.
