Families are invited to get up close with aircraft and vehicles at the “Touch a Truck, Touch an Airplane” Fly-In at Flora Airport on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.
Young aviation fans will have a special treat—the first 50 children will receive a free glider airplane toy. Attendees can explore airplanes, trucks, and other equipment up close, making it a hands-on experience for all ages.
Food and refreshments will be available, including ice cream and sandwiches served by Rosie’s Creamery. Pilots and planes are also welcome to participate.
Flora Airport is located at 481 South County Road 150 West, featuring a 2,143’ x 93’ turf runway (CTAF 122.9). To reach the airport, travel one mile west of Flora on State Road 18, then one-half mile south on County Road 150 West.
Organizers encourage families to bring their curiosity and cameras for a day filled with interactive fun, learning, and community spirit.
