Frankfort Library Hosts “Hoosier Storytellers” Featuring James Ostler’s photographs of the Frankfort High School Big Broadcast Talent Show

The Frankfort Community Public Library will host a special Hoosier Storytellers program on Thursday, October 16, at 6:00 p.m. in the library’s Skanta Theatre. Admission is free and open to the public, with no registration required.

During this session, attendees will view James Ostler’s photographs of the Frankfort High School Big Broadcast Talent Show from 1959 to 1970. Ostler’s slides will be projected on the theatre screen while a panel of local experts shares insights on each image. Audience participation is encouraged to help identify people and places featured in the photos.

Hosted by Michael Clossin, the Hoosier Storytellers series features interviews with guests of local interest, highlighting their unique experiences and stories. Presentations typically last about an hour, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

The interview will be recorded live on YouTube and archived on the library’s website for later viewing: myfcpl.org/online/podcasts/hoosier_storytellers.
