“Muffins with the Mayor Moves Indoors for Winter: Join Mayor Sheets at the Library on December 9”

Kimberly Black, Community Development & Engagement Director

Mayor Judy Sheets is pleased to announce the seasonal transition of the popular “Muffins with the Mayor” community engagement initiative. As the weather turns colder, the monthly meeting will relocate to a warmer venue and a slightly later time due to the Library’s hours.

The next Muffins with the Mayor event will take place on Tuesday, December 9th, at the Frankfort Community Public Library at 9:00am.

New Winter Location: Frankfort Community Public Library, Harry’s Coffee Shop – Lower Level (208 West Clinton Street, Frankfort)
New Winter Time:9:00 AM

“We had a wonderful summer connecting with everyone at the TPA Park Concession Stand,” said Mayor Sheets. “Now, to ensure a comfortable environment throughout the winter months, and to avoid the TPA Park Festival of Lights, we are moving indoors to the Frankfort Community Public Library. I’m excited about this new location, which offers a cozy spot for us to continue our important conversations.”

The monthly gathering, held on the second Tuesday of each month, remains a crucial opportunity for residents to receive direct updates on city projects, developments, and initiatives. Residents can ask questions and share their concerns with Mayor Judy Sheets and her leadership team.

Mayor Sheets encourages all Frankfort residents to note the time and location change and join her for the December meeting.

“Your input matters to us, and this shift to the library provides a convenient, welcoming space for everyone to be a part of the conversation as we head into the new year,” Mayor Sheets added.
