Residents of Flora and surrounding communities are invited to warm up and enjoy a hearty meal at a Soup, Stew, and Chili Cook-Off hosted by Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren. This free community event will take place on Saturday, January 17, at the church, located at 741 E. 300 N, Camden, IN 46917.
Attendees are encouraged to come hungry and sample a variety of homemade soups, stews, and chilis. Everyone in attendance will have the chance to vote for their favorites, making the event interactive and fun for all ages. At the end of the tasting, trophies will be awarded to the winning entries in each category.
Those who enjoy cooking are also welcome to bring their own soup, stew, or chili entry to share and compete alongside other local cooks.
