The Clinton County Autism Support Group, a branch of the Autism Society of Indiana, is inviting the public to participate in its annual Walk-a-Mile for Autism event this spring.
The family-friendly community walk will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at TPA Park in Frankfort, Shelter #1. The event is designed to raise awareness, promote acceptance, and support individuals and families affected by autism.
This year, the group has partnered with Randi Chambers of Crafty-ish Creations to offer event T-shirts for purchase prior to the walk. Shirts are $20 each and must be paid for at the time of ordering.
Payments can be made via:
-
Venmo: @craftyish-creations
-
PayPal: @randi_03@sbcglobal.net
Those needing to pay with cash are asked to contact event organizers to make arrangements.
All shirt orders must be placed by Sunday, March 1.
Organizers encourage community members of all ages to attend and show their support, noting that every step helps make a difference.
