Geraldine M. Serna, 65, of Rensselaer, Ind., passed away February 17, 2026 in her home. She was born on August 28, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Clarence Bud and Carol Sue (Polley) Serna.
Geraldine attended high school in Chicago. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Rensselaer, Goodland, and Remington area for over 30 years. She was an avid amateur photographer and loved drawing and anything artistic. Geraldine loved her animals.
Surviving are her children: Robert Pendley of Goodland, Carrie Randolph of Lafayette, and Ashley DeJesus Morales of Rensselaer, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, siblings: Debbie (Wally) Rygalski of Rensselaer, Bud (Diane) Serna of Morocco, Carol (Earl) Jones of Rensselaer, and Tammy (Mike) Yearly of West Lafayette, along with her best friend: Samantha Berenda of West Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Stephanie Hupp and Stacey Bakely, and brother: Jim Serna.
