Residents of Frankfort will have an opportunity to dispose of unwanted household items during the city’s Annual Spring Cleanup, scheduled for April 27 through May 2.
The cleanup event is organized by the City of Frankfort Street Department and is available to residents who pay the city sanitation or user fee.
Cleanup Schedule
The drop-off program will operate at the Street Department facility during the following hours:

Monday through Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Residents will be required to show identification upon arrival to verify eligibility.
Drop-Off Only
Officials emphasized that the cleanup program is drop-off only, meaning city crews will not collect items from homes. Residents must transport their items to the designated location themselves.
Items Not Accepted
Certain materials will not be accepted during the cleanup event, including:

Tires

Contractor or commercial loads
