Frankfort Middle School Science Olympiad Team Headed to State

Frankfort Middle School’s Science Olympiad team qualified for State after placing second at the Purdue Northwest Wild Card Tournament.

The team placed third at Regionals in February to earn an invitation to the Wild Card tournament and secured their trip to state with a second-place finish.

The state tournament is held at Northridge High School on March 28.

“We’re so proud of the hard work these students have put in this season and are excited to see them represent Frankfort at State! Way to go, Hot Dogs,” Community Schools of Frankfort posted on social media.

Indiana Science Olympiad is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of K-12 science education, increasing opportunity and diversity in science, creating a technologically-literate workforce and providing recognition for outstanding achievement by both students and teachers. These goals are achieved by participating in Science Olympiad tournaments and non-competitive events, incorporating Science Olympiad into classroom curriculum and attending teacher training institutes.
