INDOT

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a series of overnight traffic restrictions that will impact I-65 in Boone County between State Road 32 and S.R. 47 (140-146-mile markers).

Beginning on or after Thursday, April 2, single-lane closures will be in effect in this area between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. to set bearing pads for the next phase of construction on the new 52 at 65 interchange project. This work is anticipated to last around one evening, weather-permitting.

On or after Monday, April 6, nightly lane closures will resume to set beams for the new interchange and last up to two weeks. These lane closures will also take place between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. This construction will last up to two weeks, weather-permitting.

In addition, on or after Tuesday, April 7, 20-minute full closures will be in effect between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m. to continue setting beams.

INDOT encourages drivers to use caution in and around work zones, to seek an alternate route during the closure, and to avoid distractions.
