Arni’s Donation Supports Local Alzheimer’s Fundraising Efforts: Purse Auction and Bake Sale Planned for April 11

A recent fundraiser at Arni’s Restaurant brought strong community support to the fight against Alzheimer’s, raising $608 during a “Dine to Donate” event. A manager from the restaurant presented the check to Linda Large, recognizing both the success of the event and the ongoing efforts behind it.

Building on that momentum, the next event—a purse auction and bake sale—will take place Saturday, April 11, from 1–3 p.m. at the Wesley Manor Recreation Room, 1555 N. Main St., Frankfort, IN.

Community members are invited to participate by donating a new or gently used purse filled with small items or “goodies,” which will be auctioned off during the event. Those who do not have a purse to contribute are still encouraged to attend, as additional donated purses will be available for auction.

All proceeds from the purse auction and bake sale will benefit Jack’s House for Alzheimer’s, supporting care, resources, and research for individuals and families affected by the disease.
